Holy Uniter,
bringing all peoples together in your expansive embrace,
guide us in these days of celebration and discernment
as we seek your will in the many communities and ministries
of our common mission; through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Like the General Convention theme of Ubuntu, the theme of gathering in unity and fellowship will be central to our time together. Whether we are worshipping, learning, debating or eating, we come from our many corners of the church to find and form community as one body seeking reconciliation and wholeness.
